The organization is expanding its team and is looking to appoint a Senior Data Center Development Engineer to sit at the centre of site development, master planning, and front-end engineering. The ideal candidate will turn early-stage opportunities into scalable, construction-ready campuses, influencing site layouts, infrastructure strategy, conceptual design, and constructability while leading external design partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead site master planning and conceptual design for new large-scale data center campuses
  • Drive front-end engineering, turning development opportunities into technically viable and execution-ready projects
  • Support site due diligence, feasibility studies and early-stage infrastructure planning
  • Assess designs for scalability, constructability, operational efficiency and technical risk
  • Lead architectural and engineering consultants from initial concept through detailed design
  • Partner across development, engineering, innovation and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Drive design standardization and ensure projects align with technical standards, codes and the wider design roadmap


Skills/Must Have:

  • Approximately 10+ years' experience within data centers, mission-critical facilities or large-scale infrastructure design/development
  • Engineering or architectural background with strong technical design knowledge
  • Strong experience in campus master planning, conceptual design and front-end engineering
  • Understanding of data center infrastructure, constructability and design standards
  • Experience managing architectural/engineering consultants and multidisciplinary stakeholders
  • Strong technical problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project or similar platforms
