Senior Mechanical Engineer - AI Infrastructure

The company is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design and delivery from early planning through commissioning, with autonomy to shape major projects within a small, growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead mechanical design and technical delivery across new data center developments.
• Oversee HVAC, cooling, ventilation, and associated mechanical infrastructure.
• Review engineering designs and ensure they meet project requirements and standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, civil engineers, and local authorities.
• Support projects from feasibility and design through construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Identify technical risks, resolve design issues, and ensure projects stay on track.

Skills/Must Have:

• Strong mechanical engineering background across large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Experience in design, construction, and commissioning within energy, power, oil and gas, or data centers.
• Good understanding of HVAC, cooling systems, mechanical plant, and associated infrastructure.
• Experience leading engineering workstreams and coordinating contractors and consultants.
• Broad understanding of construction and other engineering disciplines.
• Comfortable taking ownership of projects and traveling internationally.

Nice to Have:

• Data center or mission-critical infrastructure experience.
• Liquid cooling or high-density cooling systems knowledge.
• EPC project delivery experience.
• Experience working with civil, electrical, and automation teams.
• Experience delivering infrastructure projects across the Nordics.

Salary:

• Up to €100,000 gross per year depending on experience.
