You'll lead technical delivery across the customer lifecycle, from solution design and project implementation through to ongoing support, combining hands-on engineering with customer engagement and technical leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and support enterprise and carrier-grade WAN and data centre network solutions, ensuring high availability, scalability and operational resilience.
  • Design and maintain complex routing architectures using technologies such as MPLS, BGP and EVPN/VXLAN to support customer and internal network infrastructure.
  • Plan fibre routes and inter-site connectivity for new customer deployments, ensuring resilient network paths, capacity planning and seamless integration into existing infrastructure.
  • Lead technical discovery workshops with customers, gathering business and technical requirements before translating them into practical network solutions.
  • Produce High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs) and implementation documentation to support successful project delivery and operational handover.
  • Take ownership of customer onboarding projects, ensuring new services are successfully integrated into the existing network infrastructure.
  • Act as the technical lead throughout the full project lifecycle, providing technical guidance from solution design through to implementation, testing and transition into production.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, operations teams, facilities teams and third-party vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high technical standard.
  • Provide technical expertise during customer meetings, solution presentations and RFP responses, acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the engagement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex routing, switching and transport-related issues across large-scale production environments, ensuring minimal service disruption.
  • Provide senior technical support and mentorship to engineering teams while acting as an escalation point for complex networking issues.


Requirements:

  • We're looking for an experienced Network Engineer with a strong background designing, implementing and supporting enterprise or service provider network environments.
  • Experience with the following technologies and disciplines will be highly regarded:
  • Strong expertise in enterprise and carrier-grade routing and switching.
  • Hands-on experience designing and supporting MPLS environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of BGP routing within enterprise or service provider networks.
  • Experience designing and deploying EVPN/VXLAN network fabrics.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise WAN technologies and resilient network architecture.
  • Experience with fibre infrastructure, transport networking and physical connectivity.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper and/or Arista networking platforms.
  • Experience designing highly available, resilient network solutions.
  • Strong experience producing High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs) and implementation documentation.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills across complex production networking environments.
