This role offers the opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer to support a fast-paced enterprise network programme focused on Cisco infrastructure, SD-WAN, SASE, Zero Trust security, and IT/OT integration. The successful candidate will play a hands-on role in stabilising, improving, and supporting a complex hybrid network environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and stabilise existing Cisco network & SD-WAN estate
  • Support or accelerate SASE/Zero Trust rollout
  • Improve IT/OT network segmentation and security posture
  • Resolve high-priority network and connectivity issues
  • Provide clear documentation and operational improvements
  • Work closely with infrastructure and security teams on delivery


Skills/Must Have:

  • Strong Cisco enterprise networking experience (routing, switching, security)
  • SD-WAN implementation/support (Cisco SD-WAN preferred)
  • SASE architecture exposure (secure access, cloud-delivered networking/security)
  • Zero Trust networking principles (identity-based access, segmentation, ZTNA)
  • IT/OT integration experience (segmented industrial/operational networks)
  • Strong troubleshooting across WAN, LAN, and security layers


Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Cisco Systems SD-WAN/security stack
  • Tools like Zscaler, Prisma Access, or Cisco Umbrella
  • Industrial networking/OT protocols (SCADA, IEC 62443 awareness)
  • Cloud networking (AWS/Azure)
  • Network automation (Python/Ansible/API-driven config)
