An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Network Engineer to join a high-performing infrastructure team. The successful candidate will oversee and maintain large-scale production networks, leading complex operational troubleshooting, incident responses, and critical escalations. Key duties involve managing routing, switching, firewalls, and overlay networking protocols while executing safe production changes. Additionally, the ideal candidate will build automation tooling and refine monitoring capabilities to enhance overall system reliability and performance.

Responsibilities:
- Run, maintain and improve production network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot complex L2/L3 issues and own escalations end-to-end
- Work across routing, switching, firewalls and VXLAN/overlay networking
- Take part in an on-call rota and manage high-impact incidents
- Plan and execute safe production changes
- Identify recurring issues and implement permanent fixes
- Build and use automation/tooling to improve network operations
- Improve monitoring, reliability and operational processes
Skills/Must Have:
- 5+ years’ network/infrastructure engineering experience
- Strong hands-on networking across routing, switching and firewalls
- Proven production and L2/L3 operational experience
- Comfortable owning complex incidents and on-call responsibilities
- Strong change-management and troubleshooting discipline
- Experience with network automation/infrastructure tooling
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
Desirable Skills:
- Multicast/market data, software development, observability/monitoring and VXLAN/EVPN experience.
