A global telecommunications organization is seeking a Senior WAN Network Engineer to join its network engineering team during an exciting phase of growth and development.
This is an opportunity to work on a greenfield, next-generation satellite network as it moves from design into deployment and operational readiness. With the core architecture already established, the focus is now on bringing the network to life, scaling from approximately 30 ground stations to more than 40 sites, connected through optical wave services into major data center environments.
Supporting demanding enterprise SLAs, the network requires exceptional availability, low latency, robust monitoring, and rapid fault isolation. The role offers hands-on experience with technologies including BGP, DWDM/wave circuits, EVPN/VXLAN, Equinix connectivity, and large-scale network observability.
Working closely with the existing network architecture team, the successful candidate will play a key role in deploying the target-state design, bringing new connectivity online, maintaining network performance, and troubleshooting issues as the infrastructure progresses toward production.
Joining ahead of production traffic and satellite launch, this is a fantastic opportunity to help shape and support a global network during a significant period of investment and expansion, delivering critical infrastructure for some of the world's largest technology customers.
