Responsibilities:
- Lead the operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure including UPS, generators, switchgear, HVAC, chillers, CRAH and CRAC units, BMS, fire protection and electrical distribution systems
- Lead and develop facilities engineers, technicians and contractors while ensuring safe, reliable 24/7 operations across the data center campus
- Own incident response, root cause analysis, preventative maintenance programs and operational procedures including SOPs, MOPs and EOPs
- Drive operational excellence through KPI reporting, capacity planning, reliability improvements, infrastructure expansion and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage maintenance budgets, vendor performance, service contracts and procurement of critical facilities equipment and services
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, operational standards, audits and sustainability initiatives including energy efficiency and PUE optimization
Skills/Must Have:
- 7+ years of experience within critical facilities, mission critical operations or data center environments with at least 3 years leading technical teams
- Strong knowledge of critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure including UPS, generators, switchgear, HVAC, chilled water, BMS, DCIM and CMMS platforms
- Experience developing maintenance strategies, operational procedures, root cause analysis and reliability programs within 24/7 environments
- Strong understanding of HSE compliance, risk management, contractor management and regulatory standards
- Experience managing operational budgets, maintenance contracts, vendors and capital improvement projects
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills with a proactive, operational mindset
