Join a UK-based, NCSC-assured consultancy specialising in the design, testing, and delivery of secure information and communication systems, recognised for its expertise in risk management and audit review.
The organization is currently on the lookout for a Solution Architect to provide architectural leadership on a 6-month hybrid contract based in Corsham. The ideal candidate will design, develop, integrate, and validate secure information systems, translating operational requirements into coherent technical solutions aligned to architectural principles and security policy within a regulated environment.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of architecture and design artefacts including High-Level Designs, Low-Level Designs, architectural options assessments, and technical roadmaps
- Define solution architectures supporting secure information exchange, metadata-based information handling, and policy-based information control
- Architect and document solutions supporting Identity and Access Management, PKI, trust frameworks, and data-centric security capabilities
- Provide technical governance and design assurance throughout build, integration, testing, and validation activities
- Review and approve detailed engineering designs against architectural intent, supporting compliance validation and interoperability testing
- Produce technical risk assessments, reference architectures, reusable design patterns, and support design/risk governance reviews
Skills/Must Have:
- 5+ years in Solution Architecture roles delivering complex infrastructure, networking, interoperability, or secure information systems, with strong HLD/LLD and architectural documentation experience
- Experience designing secure solutions within Defence, Government, or other regulated environments, with strong understanding of interoperability architectures and federation concepts
- Knowledge of data-centric security, IAM/RBAC models, and strong understanding of PKI, digital certificates, and certificate trust chains
- Experience conducting architecture and technical risk assessments, and working with engineering teams through design, build, integration, testing, and operational handover
- Must hold current SC clearance and be prepared to undergo DV clearance - desirable: Zero Trust Architecture knowledge, TOGAF/CISSP/SABSA certification

- Location: Hybrid (4x a week initially) in Corsham
- Contract Length: 6-Month Initial Contract - Inside IR35
