Responsibilities:

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file services.
• Manage and support Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and user administration.
• Support and maintain SQL Server environments, including basic administration, troubleshooting, backups, and performance monitoring.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity across the IT environment.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and infrastructure-related issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, security groups, and access controls.
• Assist with system upgrades, patching, backups, disaster recovery, and general infrastructure maintenance.
• Provide technical support and escalation assistance for complex infrastructure issues.
• Assist with Azure cloud migrations, including server, application, and workload migration projects.
• Support hybrid environments involving on-premises infrastructure and Azure cloud services.
• Assist with Azure services such as Azure VMs, Azure AD / Entra ID, Azure Storage, and Azure networking.
• Maintain accurate system documentation, procedures, and technical records.
• Work with vendors and third-party technology providers when required.
• Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, security, automation, and efficiency.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a Systems Administrator, Systems Engineer, or similar infrastructure role.
• Strong experience supporting Microsoft environments.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Experience administering or supporting Microsoft 365.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server, including administration, troubleshooting, backups, and basic performance management.
• Experience with DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, networking, and core infrastructure services.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with system monitoring, patch management, backups, and security best practices.
• Exposure to Azure and cloud migration projects.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with the wider IT team.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Azure / Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience supporting hybrid Azure/on-premises environments.
• Experience participating in Azure migration or modernization projects.
• Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-800/AZ-801, or relevant Microsoft certifications.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and routing.
• Experience working in an MSP or multi-client environment.

Salary:

• $60,000 – $70,000 base salary
