The company is looking for an experienced C++ Engineer with 5+ years of experience developing low-latency systems. Experience within financial services, trading, or HFT would be ideal, although candidates from other industries with strong and relevant technical expertise will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and enhance high-performance trading systems that collect market data and route orders across global exchanges.
  • Optimise systems for speed and efficiency, using C++ alongside network and systems programming techniques to minimise latency.
  • Build scalable platforms that provide access to historical market data and support trading simulations.
  • Develop analytical tools to identify trends and patterns within large datasets.
  • Create and maintain risk-management, monitoring and performance-tracking systems.
  • Contribute to the wider engineering team through technical interviews and occasional university recruitment activity.


Skills/Must Have:

  • 5+ years of professional experience developing low-latency systems in C++.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and object-oriented programming.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience working with Linux environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly technical environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or another relevant technical discipline.


Salary:

  • Approximately CAD $250K total compensation.
