Looking for a role with plenty of growth opportunities?
Join a global communications technology leader with decades of experience delivering advanced satellite, connectivity, and secure networking solutions across commercial, government, defence, and aviation markets. Through innovative space and ground-based technologies, the organisation enables reliable, resilient connectivity for customers and communities across global markets.
The globally recognised defence and satellite communications business is seeking a Tactical Solutions Engineer to join their Tactical Networking and Encryption team. The role is fully remote with regular travel to UK MOD sites and European exercises.
This is a pre-sales and solutions engineering role, not a pure technical or back-office position. The successful candidate will be the person who takes the product to the customer - demonstrating, configuring, troubleshooting, and communicating the capability to audiences ranging from hands-on technical users to senior military decision makers. It requires both technical depth and exceptional customer-facing ability in equal measure.
The team operates with the agility and culture of a startup while carrying the stability and resources of an established global business. The majority of engineers are ex-military, mission-focused, and collaborative - the team's own mission statement is to enable mission success for the military and government customers they serve.

- Strong customer-facing communication skills - the ability to present and translate technical information for both expert and non-expert military audiences
- SC clearance eligibility as a minimum - non-negotiable for UK MOD site access
- Willingness to undergo DV clearance in future if required - candidates must not be opposed to this process
- Flexibility to travel across the UK and to European locations approximately every other week
