Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the final escalation point for complex incidents.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and eliminate recurring issues.
  • Lead technical response during major outages and security incidents.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure and security standards.
  • Design and maintain Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environments.
  • Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and certificates.
  • Design and maintain Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
  • Configure firewalls, switching, routing, VPN, wireless, and SD-WAN/SASE environments.
  • Manage virtualization, backup, disaster recovery, and restore testing.
  • Support security assessments and compliance requirements.
  • Review architecture, scope, and technical designs for projects.
  • Lead select high-complexity infrastructure implementations.
  • Ensure projects transition successfully into managed services.
  • Mentor Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineers.
  • Develop documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
  • Automate recurring tasks using PowerShell and RMM scripting.
  • Improve monitoring, alerting, and proactive remediation.
  • Contribute to technical hiring and candidate assessments.


Skills/Must have:

  • 5+ years in MSP, IT consulting, or multi-client environments.
  • 2+ years at senior/escalation-level responsibility.
  • Expert Windows Server and Active Directory expertise.
  • Strong Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and certificate services knowledge.
  • Strong Microsoft 365 and Entra ID experience.
  • Exchange Online, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, and Conditional Access.
  • Hands-on Azure infrastructure experience.
  • Strong TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, and switching knowledge.
  • Business-class firewall configuration experience.
  • Site-to-site and remote-access VPN experience.
  • PowerShell administration and automation proficiency.
  • Practical EDR/XDR and email security experience.
  • MFA, patching, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong documentation and PSA/RMM experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent escalations.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
