The organisation is looking for a Trade Support Engineer to support mission-critical electronic trading platforms within a fast-paced financial markets environment. This is a hands-on production support role, responsible for maintaining platform stability, resolving technical issues, supporting clients, and ensuring a high level of service delivery.

Responsibilities:
- Provide L2/L3 support for electronic trading platforms.
- Troubleshoot FIX connectivity, Linux systems, and network-related issues.
- Manage production incidents, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
- Support client onboarding, connectivity testing, and platform configuration.
- Work closely with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Product teams.
- Identify opportunities for automation and service improvements.
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in Production Support, Service Delivery, Application Support, or Trading Systems Support within financial services.
- Experience supporting electronic trading platforms in a live environment.
- Strong incident management and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working directly with institutional clients, brokers, or trading counterparties.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Technical skills
- Strong FIX Protocol knowledge and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Linux administration and log analysis.
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, firewalls, and connectivity.
- Experience supporting low-latency trading environments.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
Desirable skills:
- Experience within FX, electronic trading, or capital markets.
- Exposure to sell-side trading environments.
- Experience working in regulated financial services organisations.
