Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support VMware NSX-T environments
• Manage and optimise network virtualisation platforms across enterprise infrastructure
• Implement and maintain microsegmentation and distributed firewall policies
• Support VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments
• Troubleshoot complex networking and virtualisation issues
• Work closely with infrastructure, security, and architecture teams
• Support lifecycle management, upgrades, patching, and platform maintenance
• Produce technical documentation and support operational best practices

Skills/Must have:

• Active DV Clearance
• Strong VMware NSX-T engineering and administration experience
• VMware vSphere / vCenter expertise
• Network virtualisation and microsegmentation experience
• Strong routing and switching knowledge including BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, and EVPN
• Experience working within secure or enterprise environments
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

Desirable:

• VCP-NV or VCAP-NV certifications
• VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) experience
• Automation experience using PowerCLI, Terraform, or Ansible
• Experience within defence or government environments

Salary:

• Up to £90,000 depending on experience
• Open to considering more junior candidates from £65,000+
