The successful candidate will oversee equipment handling, inventory tracking, and logistics coordination to support large-scale infrastructure deployments.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage goods in/out processes, including receiving, storing, dispatching, and logging equipment against purchase orders.
  • Coordinate complex deliveries and staging for large-scale IT installations (servers, racks, cabling, cooling/electrical components).
  • Perform hands-on warehouse tasks: loading/unloading, unpacking, and organisation of stock.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of thousands of IT assets and spares, including servers, network devices, transceivers, cabling, PDUs, consumables, and replacement parts.
  • Use barcode/RFID and warehouse systems to track movement, ensure stock accuracy, and support rapid replacement during maintenance.
  • Maintain secure, compliant, and audit-ready documentation; oversee secure storage and controlled access.
  • Ensure safe handling, recycling/disposal of packaging and decommissioned hardware in line with environmental and data-governance standards.
  • Optimise warehouse workflows, storage layout, and climate-controlled environments to support efficient operations.
  • Coordinate logistics with transport providers and liaise with suppliers to resolve discrepancies.


Skills/Must Have:

  • Strong warehouse/logistics background, ideally supporting IT or data centre environments.
  • Experience managing large-scale inventories and complex deliveries.
  • Familiarity with warehouse/inventory control systems (e.g., barcode/RFID).
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Experience handling sensitive/high-value equipment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Relevant qualifications/certifications (e.g., CIMP, CPIM, ICPC) beneficial.
  • Forklift experience beneficial.
