Ready to take the next step in your career?

Join a long-established utility cooperative that made the move into fiber. With decades of experience delivering reliable and affordable power to homes, businesses, and rural communities. Committed to service over profit, the organization invests in resilient energy infrastructure while supporting the long-term growth and development of the communities it serves.

The organization launched a broadband arm to bring high-speed internet to its service territory. Early feasibility work showed strong demand, and after piloting a hybrid approach the board has since committed fully to a pure FTTH build-out. The venture has already broken even and is now scaling into further build phases, working outward from substation infrastructure already in place.

They're supporting a fast-growing program, and they're looking to bring in dedicated Construction Managers to their team to help run and progress the build. If you would like to learn more about this opportunity, feel free to reach out and apply today!

Responsibilities:

  • Own day-to-day oversight of multiple construction crews across active build phases; aerial, underground, and splicing

  • Manage crew scheduling and sequencing to keep multiple work fronts progressing on time
  • Serve as the field-level point of contact between crews, engineering, and the broadband management team
  • Track and report on build progress, productivity, and issues back to leadership
  • Conduct site walks/inspections and sign off on completed segments
  • Support permitting and ROW coordination as needed to keep crews unblocked
  • Help build out processes and structure as the internal team scales

Skills/Must have:

  • Hands-on knowledge of fiber splicing
  • Experience supervising and coordinating multiple crews
