This opportunity is ideal for a Project Manager, Site Acquisition looking to take ownership of the full site development lifecycle for wireless infrastructure projects. The role involves managing candidate evaluation, zoning, permitting, commercial negotiations, and construction handover while coordinating landowners, tower companies, consultants, and vendors across multiple active sites to ensure projects remain on track.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead site acquisition workstreams from candidate identification through zoning, commercials, and permitting for raw-land new builds and colocations
  • Assemble complete diligence packages, access, utilities, parcel, constructability, title, survey, environmental, geotechnical, FAA, and historic/agency reviews
  • Drive zoning and permitting across multiple jurisdictions, application strategy, document readiness, and public hearing preparation
  • Lead commercial discussions on options, leases, amendments, and land rights, option fees, rent escalators, and construction bonuses
  • Manage and hold accountable all external partners, landowners, tower companies, A&E, survey, environmental, title, and utility vendors
  • Surface risks, constraints, timelines, and recommended paths to support site-selection decisions alongside RF and engineering teams
  • Own internal process steps, purchase requests, vendor onboarding, MSAs, contract routing, and payment coordination
  • Maintain trackers, timelines, and status updates, keeping internal stakeholders across engineering, legal, finance, and construction aligned
  • Travel approximately 30% of the time for zoning hearings, vendor meetings, and site visits

  • 12+ concurrent active sites at any one time


Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in site acquisition, site development, project management, or infrastructure delivery, wireless, telecom, tower, or utility preferred
  • Working knowledge of zoning, permitting, options, leases, amendments, and land rights
  • Proven ability to manage many parallel projects across different jurisdictions without losing detail
  • Assertive with vendors and external partners, you hold people to commitments and push back when needed
  • Strong written and verbal communication across landowners, municipalities, consultants, legal, and technical teams
  • Comfortable balancing commercial, regulatory, and operational considerations in a fast-moving environment
  • Organized, proactive, and highly reliable, this role requires predictable availability and strong follow-through


Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with raw-land development, colocations, and tower lease amendments
  • Familiarity with A&E workflows, utility coordination, FAA and environmental processes, and construction handoff requirements
  • Experience in time-sensitive, cross-functional environments where pace and precision both matter
