Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support across enterprise network environments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents.
- Work across routing, switching, and firewall technologies.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when required.
- Maintain accurate ticket updates and documentation.
- Work as part of a shift-based team ensuring continuous support coverage.
- Continuously develop technical knowledge and skills.
Skills / Must Have:
- BSc in Computer Networks, Cyber Security, or related field OR CCNA certified.
- Strong interest in network engineering (not cloud-focused roles).
- Good understanding of network fundamentals.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical issues clearly.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning and self-development.
- Positive attitude and willingness to take ownership.
Technical Environment:
- Cisco networking (routing & switching)
- Fortinet / FortiGate firewalls
- Enterprise network environments
Candidate Profile:
- Early-career or graduate-level candidates preferred.
- Must show progression, curiosity, and drive not someone stagnant in the same role.
- Must be committed to building a career in networking.
- Candidates must be able to clearly articulate their interest and motivation during interviews.
- Not suitable for current students.
Working Pattern:
- Harrogate-based (2 days per week onsite)
Shift rotation:
- 2 days (7am – 7pm)
- 2 nights (7pm – 7am)
- 4 days off
