Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support across enterprise network environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents.
• Work across routing, switching, and firewall technologies.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when required.
• Maintain accurate ticket updates and documentation.
• Work as part of a shift-based team ensuring continuous support coverage.
• Continuously develop technical knowledge and skills.

Skills / Must Have:

• BSc in Computer Networks, Cyber Security, or related field OR CCNA certified.
• Strong interest in network engineering (not cloud-focused roles).
• Good understanding of network fundamentals.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical issues clearly.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning and self-development.
• Positive attitude and willingness to take ownership.

Technical Environment:

• Cisco networking (routing & switching)
• Fortinet / FortiGate firewalls
• Enterprise network environments

Candidate Profile:

• Early-career or graduate-level candidates preferred.
• Must show progression, curiosity, and drive not someone stagnant in the same role.
• Must be committed to building a career in networking.
• Candidates must be able to clearly articulate their interest and motivation during interviews.
• Not suitable for current students.

Working Pattern:

• Harrogate-based (2 days per week onsite)

Shift rotation:

• 2 days (7am – 7pm)
• 2 nights (7pm – 7am)
• 4 days off

• £27,500 rising to £30,000 after probation + 20% shift allowance
