Responsibilities:
- Own day-to-day construction delivery across an active FTTH forward build and a concurrent remediation/road-move project
- Manage two in-house crews and six subcontract crews, all operating their own equipment
- Lead and develop 2–3 field supervisors
- Direct all HDD and boring operations in hard rock conditions, driving production while protecting quality and cost
- Maintain daily progress oversight and represent the build in client-facing project meetings
- Hold subcontractors to schedule, standard and safety expectations
- Identify and resolve field issues before they become schedule risks
Skills / Must Have:
- Hands-on fiber construction experience
- Strong HDD and boring background, ideally in rock or hard ground conditions
- Experience managing subcontract crews as well as direct labour
- Comfortable leading supervisors and holding crews accountable
- Work ethic and drive to learn valued above years of experience
