We are seeking a senior infrastructure engineer to lead the design, architecture, and development of distributed agents running across servers, switches, and SmartNIC/DPU environments that power modern AI infrastructure and large-scale cloud networks. This is a highly hands-on technical leadership role with ownership across architecture, implementation, reliability, observability, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Lead architecture and development of high-performance infrastructure agents written in Golang.
• Build systems managing L2/L3 networking, routing, switching, VXLAN/EVPN overlays, NAT, ACLs, and policy enforcement.
• Design scalable telemetry, observability, and monitoring pipelines.
• Implement resilient communication mechanisms using gRPC and event-driven architectures.
• Ensure agents operate efficiently across physical servers, network switches, and SmartNIC/DPU environments.
• Optimize systems for performance, high resiliency, scalability, and low local resource utilization.
• Participate in high-level architecture reviews and mentor junior engineers across the team.

Skills/Must have:

• 5+ years of dedicated experience in infrastructure engineering, platform development, or low-level systems engineering.
• Production Golang Mastery: Exceptional software development skills writing clean, concurrent, and maintainable systems code in Go.
• Linux Networking Internals: Deep, foundational understanding of the Linux kernel networking stack, packet processing, and system optimization.
• Data Center Protocols: Practical, production-level experience working with BGP, VXLAN/EVPN topologies, routing tables, NAT engines, and complex ACL configurations.
• Distributed Architectures: Proven track record building resilient distributed systems and low-overhead, agent-based architectures.
• Elite Debugging Skills: Strong troubleshooting capabilities within high-throughput, live production environments.

Nice to Have:

• Kubernetes Networking: Experience with Kubernetes Container Network Interface (CNI) implementations or custom controller logic.
• SmartNIC / DPU Ecosystems: Direct exposure to programming or integrating with SmartNIC and DPU acceleration platforms.
• Hyperscaler Background: Prior engineering experience within a cloud hyperscaler, massive data center, or specialized infrastructure-as-a-service vendor.
• AI Fabric Knowledge: Experience working alongside high-performance AI infrastructure clusters or specialized GPU-to-GPU networking.
