Responsibilities:

  • Own the product messaging and positioning, deeply understanding technical differentiators and translating them into clear, high-impact market narratives.
  • Create a wide range of written technical content, including data sheets, whitepapers, technical blogs, and product documentation.
  • Collaborate on brand and outbound messaging, reviewing press releases and partner enablement materials to ensure technical accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop and refine sales enablement assets, creating compelling presentations and collateral that empower the field organization.
  • Engage directly with the market, participating in trade shows, delivering presentations, and speaking with customers in strategic technical scenarios.
  • Lay the groundwork for team expansion, establishing processes and messaging frameworks that will allow you to lead and build a product marketing team within the next year.


Skills/Must Have:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Product Marketing Manager (PMM) or Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) specifically within the networking or cloud infrastructure space.
  • Prior hands-on experience as a Network Engineer, Systems Engineer, or Solutions Architect, you must understand data center architecture, BGP, and routing concepts without being restricted to a lab environment.
  • A strong portfolio of written materials, including technical blogs, whitepapers, and data sheets.
  • Confident in front of customers, internal teams, and audiences at trade shows or industry events.
  • A "proven doer" who has been there and done it at the execution level, looking to step into a leadership trajectory rather than a director- or VP-level role.


Location:

  • Strong preference for candidates local to Santa Clara, CA, but open to exceptional remote talent working on Pacific Time (PT).
