Join a specialist wireless networking consultancy delivering secure, reliable, and high-performance WiFi solutions for organisations across the UK and internationally. Working with a vendor-agnostic approach, the organisation partners with leading technology providers to design and optimise wireless networks across a wide range of industries.

This opportunity is for a Wireless Pre-Sales Consultant to act as the technical lead throughout the sales process. The role focuses on designing wireless solutions, producing high-level designs and bills of materials, and supporting customers across diverse environments, with an emphasis on wireless networking alongside switching and security technologies.

If you would like to learn more about this opportunity, feel free to reach out and apply today!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead wireless pre-sales engagements, from initial scoping through to HLD and BOM production
  • Design wireless solutions across a range of environments: event spaces, warehouses, manufacturing, logistics, and retail
  • Solve complex wireless challenges, robots, picking and scanning devices, dense deployments, high-mobility environments
  • Work across switching and security where required (Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, Fortinet, Palo Alto)
  • Support the sales team as the trusted technical voice in customer conversations
  • Engage with a multi-vendor portfolio, recommend the right solution for the environment, not just the default vendor

Skills/Must Have:

  • Strong wireless background, you've designed and scoped complex wireless deployments, not just supported them
  • Pre-sales experience or the technical credibility to step into a pre-sales role confidently
  • Comfortable producing HLDs and BOMs to a professional standard
  • Experience with challenging wireless environments, warehouses, events, manufacturing, or high-density spaces
  • Multi-vendor confidence, you're not a one-platform engineer
  • Wireless certifications are beneficial but not essential, your experience and ability matter more
  • Self-sufficient and comfortable working remotely across a UK-wide customer base

Working Setup:

  • Cisco Wireless
  • Ruckus
  • Juniper Mist
  • HPE Aruba
  • Fortinet Wireless
  • Extreme Wireless
  • Cambium
  • Omada
  • Cisco Switching, Aruba Switching, Ruckus Switching
  • Cisco Firewalls, Fortinet Firewalls, Palo Alto

Benefits:

  • The most varied wireless vendor portfolio you'll find in a single role, 8 platforms and counting
  • Genuinely interesting use cases, warehouses with robots, large event venues, major retail deployments
  • Ruckus Elite and Cisco Premier partner status, serious credibility and access in the market
  • Open salary budget, they'll pay for the right person, not a budget ceiling
  • Fully remote, no office politics, no unnecessary commuting
  • Certs are a bonus, not a barrier, if you've got the skills, they want to talk
  • Fully remote, work from home, UK wide
  • Ruckus Elite Partner and Cisco Premier Partner status

Salary:

  • £60,000 – £85,000 (open budget for the right person)
